What to Pack and What NOT to Pack...

...that is still the question.

I'm further along at least. I leave in two days and I now have at least one of my suitcase partially filled with the miscellaneous items I will need on my trip, which means, everything but my clothes. My clothes are in piles though. Organized of course separted by long sleeve, short sleeve, sweater, dress shirt, button up...the list goes on. I never realized how much clothing I have until I started cleaning my room in preparation for packing for this trip.

Plus, since I have two days, I'm attempting to wear clothes that I won't be bringing on my trip. Make it very difficult to put together an outfit. Oh I should elaborate as to why - our washing machine is broken. THerefore, when I wear said packed outfit, I may dirty it and have no time to clean it, I'm pretty sure my neighbors would hate for me to do my laundry at their house in my pajamas (the ones that I'm not taking to Ireland) at about 10 at night. I doubt it would go over well. What can you do.

I'm off to get some last minute items, then it's back to my room to pack my life away into two suitcases, and a carry on. I hope I can bring my guitar.

What To Pack and What Not to Pack....

...that is the question.

I'm a listmaker. My desk is cluttered with lists, there are post-it notes with lists all over my bedroom walls, even my away message on AIM is a list. However, making a list to pack to move to Ireland for 5 months, backpacking for 2 of those months, is not as easy as my usual lists. In fact, it's practically impossible. I'm packing and unpacking, and packing and unpacking again. It feels never-ending and I think that when I am done I will still wonder if I will need the stuff I left, or if I packed too much. Looks like I'm going to find out.
